From the time we first opened the doors of NorthPaws in 2004, we have prided ourselves in creating a home-like atmosphere complemented by modern veterinary medicine and outstanding customer service.  This unique philosophy has allowed us to expand our current building to a facility which architecturally preserves the historic charm of our original 1850's "Blue Victorian", while incorporating the cutting edge technology and high quality of care our clients have come to expect from NorthPaws.

As an AAHA approved hospital, NorthPaws has passes a rigorous review of over 800 standards that evaluate quality of care and patient services. We also regularly undergo comprehensive on-site evaluations to ensure our equipment is well-maintained and up-to-date, and that our procedures are cutting-edge so our facility can continue to deliver high quality veterinary care.

At NorthPaws we are proud to be one of only 3,000 hospitals in North America who have earned AAHA accreditation and one of only seven AAHA certified animal hospitals in the entire state of Rhode Island.
